Players anticipating the arrival of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined don't need to wait too much longer. A free-to-play demo version will release on the seventh of January, offering a generous look into the game's opening hours. Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined constitutes a comprehensive reimagining of the landmark year 2000 RPG, first released as Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. In a distinct step away from recent series re-releases, like the recently launched HD-2D versions, this version embraces a striking 3D visual presentation. Such refinements seek to address a key the 2000 game's common criticisms: its immense length. The original adventure could easily take more than 100 hours to finish. The reimagined edition was expressly structured to refine flow and cut down on any repetition.
