'Enduring a Horrific Ordeal': Relatives of Missing Young People Await Answers After Ski Resort Inferno
The families of teens missing after a devastating blaze at a venue in a Switzerland's winter destination are facing an painful period of uncertainty for official news and appealing for clues about their loved ones publicly.
The inferno devastated the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of New Year's Day. Verified video reveal the ceiling igniting as bottles with fireworks are raised in celebration.
Officials have stated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the fatalities of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and wounded another over a hundred. Officials stated on Friday that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with efforts ongoing to identify the remaining few.
In the interim, relatives have been taking to the internet to request information about their friends who were at the bar that night.
Desperate Searches for the Unaccounted For
The whereabouts of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, sixteen, are still unconfirmed, according to an heartfelt request from his mother.

His parent, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around midnight. An official spokesperson has stated that a formal confirmation of his death is not yet.
Other Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is likewise unaccounted for. His mother told reporters that he had been on vacation but had ventured out with friends and found himself at the bar.
"A companion informed me they fled after the fire erupted and that he had his mobile with him, but then at a specific moment he couldn't see him anymore," she said, adding he had been wearing a distinctive gold chain.

Consular authorities from her country of origin say they are actively engaged with the situation.
