Under Observation for Minor Injuries

Joshua had remained in the hospital while healing from his light wounds, representatives stated earlier on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post online that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to continue his recovery at home.

“Joshua and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two friends who passed away as they were being prepared for repatriation,” Omotosho said.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The two men who died were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, Joshua's trainer, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the champion was filled with sorrow and overcome with emotion over the loss of his two trusted companions.”

This update on his health arrives after the boxing community shared condolences for the star in the aftermath of the devastating accident.
